Getting higher interest on your US dollar is a big thing these days. Robinhood and Credit Karma are each offering around 0.3% APY and 0.9% APY and have garnered lots of attention and participation from USD holders as an alternative to bank checking accounts. But why settle for such low interest rates when you can enjoy so much more?
ICONFi offers much higher rates than traditional institutions — up to 11% APR if you choose to lock up your funds for a longer term. Plus, the interest compounds at an astonishing 4 hour interval, giving you even higher actual interest yield!
Below are the steps to take advantage of the opportunity:
1. Create a Coinbase account.
Coinbase website is accessible at: https://www.coinbase.com/usdc. Press “Get Started” to create Coinbase account and choose a payment method.
2. Buy USD Coin (no fees!)
Click on “Buy/Sell” and choose USD Coin (“USDC tokens”). Each USDC token represents 1 US dollar, and can be bought without any fees at Coinbase.
3. Send USDC tokens to ICONFi!

Your USDC tokens will automatically start earning interest (at 3.5% APR) 24 hours after it is successfully deposited into your ICONFi account. If you want to maximize your interest earnings, you can apply for fixed term lockup savings products for up to 11% APR (and even higher actual interest with 4-hour compounding)!
